GUARDIANSHIP

If you have found your way to this page, you will know that our girls are our family.  We are not like most breeders.  We breed puppies as our hobby and take pride in their health, temperament, breed mix, amazing coats and we idolise each and every puppy as much as we love our own girls, Frankie and Estella.

Lennon and I simply love the process of watching the life cycle in its purest form, right in front of us. We both have very curious and compassionate minds and love raising baby animals.

I've thought a lot about keeping an additional breeding girl over the years and offering her to a guardian family.  The timing has never felt quite right, or I wasn't 100% sure about it, or their may have been challenges with a litter where I thought I may not breed again.  However, every single time I think about no more pups, I know it doesn't feel right.

With this being Frankie's last ever litter, it's made me realise it's my last chance to keep another piece of her.  The last chance to continue her line.  And the more I've thought about it, the more I convince myself to go ahead.

We would like to find an extra special home for this girl, as we would like to introduce her into our breeding family. We are essentially on the lookout for a Guardian Family Home. If you think this could be you or someone you may know, please reach out for some further information.

I am determined to find not just a home, but an extension of our family for this girl, hand selected by Len. You must be based in Geelong or surrounding areas. If you are interested, I would LOVE to hear from you.

So, what does this all mean!!?

To become a guardian means to take in and eventually adopt one of our breeding girls.  The guardian pup will grow up in your home as a beloved pet and when of age return to our home to be mated (around 3-5 days at a time). She would then return to us during her final stages of pregnancy where she will give birth and raise her puppies alongside us until they're 8 weeks old.  We would welcome you to visit regularly as we know how big a part of our families these girls become.  She would have up to 4 litters of pups. Once she retires from breeding (Around age 5) and is desexed, we will transfer the ownership to you.

We will provide you a puppy at 8 weeks of age (no charge) and cover most costs associated with this girl (Conditions apply).  If you have liaised with us and applied and if we think you could be a suitable choice, we are happy to send you though the preliminary agreement terms.
