Frankie update

Hello again!

I hope you're all keeping well and enjoying this beautiful weather we've been getting. We certainly have been. We've all been enjoying our beautiful backyard...Frankie in particular!

Since my last post, Frankie has come into season. This time has been difficult to find the right man for her and I was starting to panic that I'd missed the tiny window...then along came HUGO 💙

Hugo came to visit us twice this week with a big thanks to his gorgeous Mum who traveled over two ours to come to us (rare find!!!). He and Frankie certainly sparked up some fireworks.

Hugo is the most divinely handsome stud, being a chocolate mini poodle! His colouring is nothing short of brilliant and I'm so excited to see what puppies he and our girl produce. He is a carrier of some insanely gorgeous colours and markings so we could be in for some feasts for the eyes. He is completely DNA clear of all diseases tested through Orivet so of course, puppies will be incredibly healthy little furballs.

What is next?

Well, now I have to sit tight and play the waiting game to see if the matings have been successful. At approximately 25 days after their frolic in the grass I will take Frankie for an ultrasound to hopefully confirm pregnancy. And if pregnant, Puppies will be due sometime around March 28th!

In the meantime, we will continue to smother our girl in love, keep her home and safe and continue to give her plenty of amazing food to nourish the babies she's hopefully working really hard on growing.

Let's keep fingers and toes crossed for ridiculously brilliantly beautiful pups in a couple of months.
